What we collect

• Your account email address.
• The company website URL you submit to build a map.
• Any company details you choose to provide to improve classification.
• Basic usage and purchase metadata (e.g. that a pass was purchased).

How we use it

To build and save your investor map, authenticate you, process your one-time purchase, and send transactional email (verification codes and product updates you ask for; purchase receipts come from Polar). We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.

Who processes your data

• Supabase — database, authentication, hosting.
• Polar — payments and merchant of record (it handles the transaction, tax, and receipts).
• Postmark — transactional email delivery.
• A third-party climate-intelligence engine — receives only your company domain and the ontology classification needed to compute matches, server-to-server. It never receives your password or payment details.

Investor information you see

Investors shown are public firms; individuals shown are public professional roles (for example, a fund's partners). We do not expose third-party personal email addresses. If something looks wrong, email us and we will review it.

Cookies & local storage

We use your browser's local and session storage to keep you signed in and to remember a referral code. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

Retention & your rights

We keep your map and account while your account exists. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data at any time — email hi@ridgerunner.earth.

We may update this policy; we will note material changes here. This is a starter version pending legal review.
